Ultra HD LED TV Concept:

First of all, the physical resolution of ultra-high-definition LED TVs, that is, the number of pixels on the screen, must reach or exceed the resolution of the displayed content. There are two high-definition standards, 720p and 1080i. The physical resolution of plasma TVs priced at about 10,000 yuan in the domestic market is mostly 852 × 480, which is just standard definition TVs and cannot be called ultra-high-definition LED TVs.

Secondly, the high-definition standard requires that the aspect ratio of the TV screen is 16:9. Although the traditional 4:3 ratio TV can display 16:9 content, the image must be compressed and adjusted, and it cannot become an ultra-high-definition LED TV.

A real UHD LED TV needs a built-in high-definition digital tuner, but at present, because the relevant standards have not yet been determined, it cannot be required. Ultra-high-definition LED TV products on the market cannot have a built-in high-definition digital tuner.

Finally, the ultra-high-definition LED TV must be equipped with a DVI or HDMI digital multimedia interface to display high-definition content in order to connect to a high-definition video playback device.

HD and LCD are two concepts:

One is the physical resolution of the TV, including ordinary definition PDTV, standard definition SDTV, enhanced definition EDTV, and high-definition HDTV (we often say high-definition);

One is the display screen of the TV, which includes ordinary display screen, flat right-angle display screen, ultra-flat display screen, flat display screen, microdisplay rear projection display screen, plasma display screen, and liquid crystal display screen.
